You want computer generated A.I. written captions? Use that Chat bot yourself.
Don't forget to say domo arigato to Mr. Roboto (yes, back in the day there was a capper named that but I'm referencing a song) making better capped pics than a real flesh and blood human being!
Never insult a writer or artist by telling them to use a bunch of algorithms that's supposed to be smarter! Yeah, this is an ego thing. Enjoy robot made fiction. The human element is no longer needed it seems. Damned automation! I'm dispensable!

ReplyDeleteYou know too much for one that's only lived but one lifetime. I don't think I'm coming back this time though. I almost retired last month. I don't like where things are headed in general in TG community now. I think it's time to bow out. I tried overlooking that though...but when commenters start suggesting I let an Artificial Intelligence write my captions for me? Naw. Nah. Nada. That crossed a line. If y'all think Skynet can write better captions than me then use it. I won't. This insulted my creativity. My humanity. I must draw the line here...no further! If my individuality isn't valued then enjoy your algorithm stories!

ReplyDeleteIt just a tool it write simulator stories every time and doesn't have a sense for a good tg story, it can be funny to give him existing stories and to tell him to make part 2 but he need a good source for the original story, your caps are awesome and I read them for years, please think more about it.
ReplyDeleteIt's only a tool that can replace human writers. It's a plagiarism machine. It's insulting to be told to use one. Perhaps my caps have gotten a bit formulaic. Using a lot of the same models over and over again. I was thinking about retiring after that school shooting too. There's so much going on. I'm a dinosaur to all the woke stuff. Heck, I remember when they started being funky about long established TG tropes like Madame Olga! I'm an extinct breed already.

ReplyDeleteYes, yes it is. Because this is an art form. You can't just replace artists with computer algorithms. I've been making capped pics since the beginning of this century. My human creativity is so bad people start recommending I ask a robot to do it for me? Time to retire.
