I say the same thing "I'm not looking at captions anymore" but I say it to myself, the difference is Gensabi shares his thoughts and feelings at those moments with us. It's not a lie that's how he feels at that moment. Then other times like he writes his captions, I'm back looking at captions, it's just the nature of people. Which is why I've learned not to beat myself up or take to much stock in how I feel at the moment, life is an ebb and flow some days I'm never returning and two days, a week, a month later I'm back.
And I very well might not have. I have both physical and mental health issues that complicate things. Just got diagnosed with a thyroid condition. Taking meds for that is helping the rest.
Why do I make those posts? Because one of my fears is dying without any update here leaving people hanging or not knowing. How many times does a captioner just disappear without explanation? I've done this for 20 years now. In theory there's people who've been readers since the beginning. I'm worried about Eotten though. Hasn't commented in a while.
Thanks. I'm doing a lot better. Just finished a round of antibiotics and had to be put on thyroid medicine. Mentally the anhedonia has lifted. That's always good. I feel productive again.
