Dear Readers,
I lasted 9 days before making new ones. Was able to hold off posting any till day 13. So, I guess since there's been no comments on any of the 10 new posts I cranked out that's that for the slight return.
Personal things have happened since that last one that is pretty much stopping me again anyways. A death has occurred.

DeleteI don't mean to be mean here, but... really? You write captions solely for the little ego boost that comments provide? Don't get me wrong: feedback is nice and it's okay to enjoy that, but if you aren't writing because you ENJOY the writing itself, then you're in it for the wrong reasons. Write whatever brings you pleasure, post whenever you feel like posting, and the feedback you get is icing on the cake. You have my sympathy for any loses you've incurred in your life, and for your health concerns, but don't sulk because people don't comment. You're better than that.
ReplyDeleteYou know what? It's not like I didn't wait a few days. 5 days. At least thought I'd get a welcome back, or be happy to see new stuff. I really thought I was done for good this time.
DeleteA friend's dad just died. I had been helping them the past 6 months. In the end doctors refused to give his dad a feeding tube or nutrition via IV. They starved the man to death.
I now have to go to urgent care tomorrow.
I don't mind lurkers but usually there would be one or two regular commenters.
So yeah, go off on me for thinking there's no more interest in my doing this because there's no comments. No comments to take my mind off the bullshit of real life lately.
I was gonna leave the blog up. At least try to get all the old stuff up. Maybe I shouldn't? Wouldn't it all just be a monument to my little ego boosts? Maybe leaving it up for posterity was the wrong idea? An egotistical failing to support my super Id.
Maybe deleting the blog would prove I'm above being a slave to my ego?
