The reason everybody has two is in case you lose an arm you have one in the opposite leg or vice versa. There has to be an update cycle too, so every so often the chips refresh their data. So, copying a chip is no biggie. But overwriting one and initiating a body reset to prior status is a bit more tricky. Her backup could revert her unless it's down to wear the second one updates after the change. Or he'd have to remove the second one from her body prior to changing her. See, it's a logistics thing. I did think about and consider that!
